In Brightstars, we utilise a holistic and comprehensive approach to teaching children with learning challenges. By incorporating the best practices of select therapies and methodologies, we hope to support our students to achieve their highest potential.
The Holistic Program is suitable for children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, developmental delays and learning challenges, age 2 years old to 15 years old. This program is also suitable for children who require an Early Intervention Program. Each student receives an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) with a 1 to 1 student to therapist ratio. Your child will benefit from ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis), speech therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy, Autism Movement Therapy, Music Therapy, School Readiness, Social Skills Playgroup, Life Skills and Functional Academics in a group-based learning environment.
Choose from morning or afternoon sessions, 5 days a week Intensive Program or 3 days a week Flexible Program.
The ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Home Program is suitable for families who prefer child behavioral therapist to be conducted in the convenience of their own home. Applied Behaviour Analysis originated from the USA, by Dr. Ivar Lovaas, it is the longest standing and best-established therapy for autism and related disorder. ABA is the use of techniques and principles to bring about positive change in behaviour. A comprehensive ABA program can produce significant improvements. Our trained ABA therapists provide intensive 1 to 1 therapy. Our targeted ABA programs support speech and communication, positive behaviour, independent living skills, play skills, school readiness and more.
The Learning Support Aide Program is suitable for children who require shadow aide support in school. Our trained child behavioral therapis will work closely with the child in school to provide support and guidance. We work on specific goals within the framework of each student’s Individualised Education Plan.
The Social Skills Playgroup is suitable for children who require targeted support for socialisation. Each student receives 1 to 1 student to therapist ratio, and enjoy a variety of fun group-based activities designed to integrate play skills with social communication. Every Friday from 2.00pm to 3.30pm.
The Occupational Therapy program is suitable for children who require targeted support with occupational therapy and sensory integration therapy. Our experienced occupational therapists conduct assessments and design treatment plans for each child individually. Choose from centre-based or home-based therapy.
